At the inaugural Cities Summit of the Americas in Denver, Colorado, the Inter-American Dialogue and CAF-Development Bank of Latin America convened a high-level workshop entitled, “Women’s Economic Empowerment & the Digital Transformation.”
The Inter-American Dialogue carried out a study to evaluate the impact of the pandemic on the digital strategies that HEIs in the region had already been developing. This report documents and analyzes the results of a regional survey applied to 178 HEIs conducted in 2021 and 2022.
On December 16, the Inter-American Dialogue, in partnership with the Japan Association of Latin America and the Caribbean, held a public meeting titled “Toward Pandemic Recovery in Latin America and the Caribbean—Exploring New Dimensions of Japan-US-LAC Interregional Cooperation,” to consider prospects for enhanced Latin American, Caribbean, Japanese, and US collaboration in support of regional recovery and sustainable development.
On September 9, 10, and 11, 2020, over 6,000 participants from around the world convened virtually for the 24th Annual CAF Conference to discuss the most pressing issues facing the Western Hemisphere.
