Regional Agenda for Early Childhood Development: Improve the Quality of ECD Services

Improve management practices that guarantee high-quality early childhood development services. This requires that countries establish quality assurance systems to monitor the quality of public and private services offered to children.
These quality assurance systems should capture children’s development indicators, human resource capacities, as well as the basic conditions (technical, financial, and structural) that public and private providers must meet.
These quality assurance systems must also include procedures for technical assistance and quality verification, including incentives for compliance and consequences for non-compliance.
