Roberta S. Jacobson is a Founding Partner of Dinámica Americas.
Jacobson served as the US Ambassador to Mexico from May 2016 until May 2018 and as the Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs from March 2012 to May 2016. During 30 years at the Department of State, she held various positions in the Department’s Western Hemisphere Bureau, embassies in Argentina and Peru, and the White House. She also served as White House Coordinator for the Southwest Border from January to April 2021.
Jacobson serves on the Board of Directors of Liberty Latin America and SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter). She taught at the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics as a Pritzker Fellow and is the host of the podcast, “The Mexican Dream.” Jacobson served as a senior advisor on the Western Hemisphere at Denton’s Global Advisors/Albright Stonebridge Group from 2019-2023.
Jacobson joined the Dialogue as a Member in 2018.
