Nicolás Saldías is a Latin America and Caribbean senior analyst for The Economist Intelligence Unit. He obtained his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Toronto, Canada. Previously, he worked as a senior research fellow at the Latin American Program and Argentina Project at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, D.C. He has extensive experience conducting political and economic analyses on various countries in the region, including Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Uruguay. His analytical insights have been featured in several publications, including The Washington Post, Americas Quarterly, and the Latin American Advisor, among others. Saldías is currently a Senior Fellow at CESCOS-Uruguay.
Saldías was an event speaker at the Inter-American Dialogue.
