Dialogue with IACHR Candidates: Written Responses
On Friday, May 5th, 2017 the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL), the Due Process of Law Foundation (DPLF), the Open Society Justice Initiative, and the Inter-American Dialogue hosted an open forum with the six candidates nominated by the member states to serve on the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR). In that forum, candidates took public questions from attendees and remote viewers on YouTube and Twitter. The details and video of the event can be found here.
In addition, all questions—including those that were not asked in the forum because of limited time—were collected and the candidates were given the opportunity to submit written responses.
The full list of questions can be found here.
