Uno de los objetivos centrales del PREAL ha sido identificar y difundir buenas prácticas de política educacional y reforma educativa, para lo cual mantiene una base de datos de experiencias en distintos ámbitos, que ha ido dando a conocer a través de sus informativos impresos, de un catastro (publicado en agosto de 2003) y de su sitio web.
