Ricardo Lagos, former president of Chile, has published a new book title Mi vida. Memorias II: Gobernar para la democracia or “My Life. Memoir II: Governing for democracy.”

His new book is a continuation of his memoir series. The former president reflects on the fundamental moments of his political life, from Chile’s return to democracy in October of 1988 to the end of his administration. He recounts the details of the first twenty years of political transition, the years he served as president of the republic, and the role that Chile had both on the Latin American and international stage.
