    Member in the News: Brian O’Neill

    The Board of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Development Bank approved the appointment of Brian O’Neill as Executive Vice President effective January 1, 2019. He has over 40 years of experience in banking in Latin America, most recently as a senior advisor at Lazard, an international financial advisory and asset management firm. He also served as acting U.S. director at the IDB for five months in 2008.

    Previously, he was US deputy assistant secretary of the treasury. O’Neill has been a member of the Inter-American Dialogue since 2010 and sits on the Board of Directors.
