Gerardo Amelio is chief commercial officer (CCO) and formed part of the founding executive team of Transnetwork, a leading international business-to-business (B2B) real time payment network that provides connectivity between money transfer operators, banks, and fintechs with financial institutions, retailers, and wallets throughout 17 countries in the LATAM region. He has more than 20 years of international cross border payments experience in the capacity of business development, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, product development/innovation, and business operations.

Amelio holds a degree in economics from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain.
