Michael Matera is co-founder and managing partner at Global Outcomes LLC, a strategic advisory firm focused on government relations, political risk assessment, problem solving, and trade promotion in Latin America. Previously, Matera served as the Americas program director at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), charge d’affaires and deputy chief of mission at the US embassy in Buenos Aires, as well as executive director/chief of staff to Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick.
Matera has a MA in development economics from Stanford University, an MBA focusing on international finance from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a BA/MA in international politics, soviet studies and economics from Johns Hopkins University.
