We are pleased to share with you the National Report Card on Education Progress in Guatemala 2008, Education: An Urgent National Challenge, which will be launched today in Guatemala City.

This is the second national report card produced by PREAL and its Guatemalan partner, the Center for National Economic Research (CIEN), and it reviews the state and progress of the education system in the years 2000 through 2006, using the best available data.
