The Brazil Program delivers timely, nonpartisan analysis on developments shaping Brazil, the United States, and the bilateral relationship. From in-depth reports to real-time analysis, private briefings, and media engagement, the initiative helps policymakers, partners, and business leaders navigate issues ranging from trade, investment, and critical minerals to elections, foreign policy, democracy, and economic trends.

As a flagship activity of the Brazil-U.S. Dialogues, the Brazil Program at the Inter-American Dialogue led a bipartisan U.S. congressional staff delegation to Brazil in May 2026, with visits to Brasília and São Paulo. Bringing together senior staff from both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate, the delegation engaged with government officials, members of Congress, business leaders, civil society representatives, and security experts to deepen understanding of Brazil’s political and economic landscape and strengthen bilateral ties.
