China is expected to be keen on investment in Mexico. Sinopec has an office in Mexico, and Mexico’s state oil company Pemex has just signed Chinese financing and co-operation agreements. I don’t expect they’ll be acquiring any exploration blocks but they’ll probably be minimum equity partners in some to get a foothold in Mexico and grow from there.
