The wave of general disgruntlement [in Latin America is] a regional trend [that seeks] to punish incumbents for failing to deliver in tough times. In this way, it is extremely likely that we will continue to see mass protests across Latin America, particularly when pandemic lockdown measures are eased, but these will reflect discontent across the spectrum.
