Unlike France and some other EU countries that want no further delays in Mercosur country compliance with the EUDR because they want to protect their market from Mercosur agricultural goods, some EU countries, like Germany and Italy, wouldn’t mind a postponement of compliance with the EUDR because such trade flexibilization will expand their exports, especially for value-added products like cars.
