José Rubén Zamora was arrested on July 29, 2022 after being subjected to public ridicule by prosecutors from the Public Ministry during the Giammattei administration. The judicial process that he was a part of was flawed from the beginning, as the prosecution did not have sufficient evidence to charge him.
