Not only are some of the laws flagrant violations of the country’s constitution, but the procedures involved in their passage by the ruling Morena coalition will also be scrutinized by the nation’s highest court since there were many legislative rules that were broken. It’s difficult to understand why the ruling coalition went to such unprecedented lengths to get these laws approved at the last minute of the current legislature’s session.
