William Landis

Former Development Assistant, Inter-American Dialogue

William Landis served as development assistant in the Office of the President. Before joining the Dialogue, Landis interned in the Cultural Section of the Embassy of Argentina as a communications intern. In addition to his experience at the Embassy of Argentina, Landis interned at the US House of Representatives on three occasions and at the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies. During the summer of 2023, Landis received the International Internship Grant to intern as a content writer for LidaPatty Consulting in Bogotá, Colombia.

Landis graduated from American University with a BA in International Service and a minor in Spanish Language. He also holds an MA in Security Policy Studies from George Washington University. His areas of focus include organized crime and Latin American foreign policy.

Landis is fluent in English and Spanish.
