Violeta Granera

Violeta Granera is a human rights activist and has worked in a variety of Non-Governmental Organizations. From 2005 to 2007, she was Chief Executive of the National Council of Economic and Social Planning of Nicaragua (CONPES), and from 2002 to 2007 she was the Officer for Citizen Participation in the World Bank. Granera has also held the Executive Direction of Grupo Fundemos, and has been the Deputy Director of the Nicaraguan Association for Human Rights.
