Verónica Ortiz-Ortega is a lawyer, international political analyst, and former Director of the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations (COMEXI). In this capacity, she led the organization’s strategic agenda on international relations and public diplomacy, strengthening ties with leading voices across the Americas and Europe. She is the co-chair of the Binational Program HOPELatinas, an associate of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Mexico, and the host of Ventana Política, a podcast and column dedicated to political analysis and international issues. 

Throughout her career, Ortiz-Ortega has combined law, media, and public policy to foster dialogue on global and regional affairs.She has also been a contributing writer for El Heraldo de México since 2017 and a television anchor for Canal del Congreso since 2013. As an independent consultant, Ortiz-Ortega has advised on governance, strategic communications, and institutional relations, drawing on her expertise to build cross-sectoral partnerships. Her academic background includes a law degree from Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City, and studies in comparative law at the University of Oxford. She has been a frequent commentator in national and international media and a speaker at public forums on diplomacy, governance, and global affairs.
