Her career has focused on researching, designing, and implementing strategies to promote behavioral changes from the focus of civic culture and social norms. She currently is the co-founder of Hemisferia, a group of women dedicated to promoting gender equality in the workplace through pedagogical and behavioral strategies. She is also deputy director of projects at Movilizatorio. 

In the public sector, she held the position of Director of the Culture Observatory at the City District Secretariat of Culture, Recreation, and Sports of Bogotá D.C. She also worked as an advisor in cultural change in the City District of Security of Bogotá D.C and in the Administrative Department of Public Function of the National Government of Colombia. For several years she worked at Corpovisionarios as education director and Lab Creative Director. She was the co-founder at Círcula, an environmental project to help people solve the problem of garbage.

Forero is an anthropologist from the Universidad de los Andes with a Master’s degree in social sciences with an emphasis on communication and culture from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. In her master’s degree, she joined as a visiting researcher in the Behavioral Ethics Laboratory (BeLab) of the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Forero was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
