Takeshi Nishigawa is the founder and CEO of Encounter Japan Group. He currently leads a team of 120 professionals across operations in Mexico, Colombia, and Japan. His group is dedicated to bridging markets through three core pillars: food & beverage, trading, and marketing and advertising.

Nishigawa began his career in the automotive division of Sojitz Corporation, where he was responsible for business development in several countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2014, he began his own entrepreneurial journey by opening a venue in Shibuya, Tokyo, and subsequently founding Encounter Japan Ltd. Nishigawa relocated to Mexico in 2015 to deepen his engagement with the region, establishing the group’s Mexican branch in 2016 and expanding further with a Colombian branch in 2023. He is a graduate of Kwansei Gakuin University.
