Susana Silva is the president of the Peruvian National Penitentiary Council. Previously, she served as secretary of public integrity of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. She has been general coordinator of the High-Level Anti-Corruption Commission in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and held various positions in the public administration as vice president of the National Penitentiary Institute, deputy defender for the State Administration of the Ombudsman’s Office, and inspector general of the Ministry of the Interior.

She has a degree in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master’s in Applied Development Law (LLM; Law in Development) from the University of Warwick, England.
