Sofía Pérez Gasque Muslera is the general director of the Mexican Association of the Information Technology Industry (AMITI).
She holds a degree in international business and has more than twenty years of experience leading initiatives in digital transformation, innovation policy, and gender inclusion across Mexico and Latin America.
Throughout her career, Pérez Gasque Muslera has worked at the intersection of technology, business development, and public policy, promoting collaboration between the private sector, government, and academia to strengthen the digital economy. Prior to joining AMITI, she led strategic projects fostering women’s participation in STEM and entrepreneurship and advised organizations seeking to expand the social and economic impact of digital technologies.
She has been recognized among the 100 Most Powerful Women in Mexico by Forbes México (2023) and received the Globant Award for Inspiring Executive Woman of the Year (2022), distinctions that highlight her leadership in advancing inclusion and competitiveness in the digital sector.
She is an advocate for inclusive innovation and the use of technology as a driver of equality, productivity, and sustainable growth in the region.
