Intern, Peter D. Bell Rule of Law Program

Sofía Lopes joined the Inter-American Dialogue in May 2024 as an intern for the Peter D. Bell Rule of Law Program.

She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in international studies at Universidad ORT Uruguay and is expected to graduate in December 2024. Prior to joining the Dialogue, Lopes served as a communications consultant to the Inter-American Bank’s (IDB) Staff Association as part of IDB’s 2024 Winter Internship Program based in Washington, DC Headquarters.

She is fluent in Spanish and English.
