Sofía García is the director of training and pedagogical innovation at Ceibal in Uruguay.

Previously, García was the executive coordinator of the master’s degree in Education, Innovation, and Technologies and the inclusive education courses at FLACSO Uruguay, where she was also a professor in several postgraduate courses. García was a professor of the master’s degree in Design of Learning Environments at Universidad Tecnológica de Uruguay and an IT coordinator at the Faculty of Information and Communication of the University of the Republic. 

In addition, she was head of operations at a continuing medical education company and was an advisor to the Pan American Health Organization and the National Resources Fund.

García holds a degree in communication sciences from the University of the Republic and a master’s degree in educational processes mediated by technologies from the National University of Cordoba.

García was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
