Santiago Corcuera is currently the president of the National Electoral Chamber of Argentina and has served as a judge on this court since 2001. He was also the secretary-general of the Magistrates’ Council and secretary of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

Corcuera is a professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and the author of various publications on constitutional and electoral-political matters. He holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and is a graduate of the National School of the Judiciary in France.
