Ruth Argelia Vázquez Salas is a medical doctor who graduated from the Autonomous University of Nayarit. She holds a master’s degree in health sciences with a concentration in reproductive health and a Ph.D. in public health sciences with a concentration in epidemiology from the National Institute of Public Health.
Vázquez Salas is a researcher affiliated with the department of women’s health in the reproductive health directorate at the Center for Population Health Research of the National Institute of Public Health.
She has delivered more than 30 presentations at national and international scientific events, meetings, and conferences. Within the research group on early childhood development and functional impairments, she has collaborated on topics including early childhood development, functional impairments, depressive symptoms, and violent discipline methods. She has been responsible for these topics in the annual reports of the National Health and Nutrition Survey (ENSANUT).
Vázquez Salas was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
