Rodolfo Solano

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Costa Rica

Rodolfo Solano is the current minister of foreign affairs for Costa Rica. Previously, he was ambassador of Costa Rica in Korea, Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia (2015-2019). Solano served as the minister couselor and counsul general in Japan (2010-2013). He was ambassador for “Misión Especial” for the opening processes of the Costa Rican embassies in Singapore and India (2007-2009). From 2002 to 2010, he was minister counselor and consul at the Embassy of Costa Rica in Korea.

Solano has a degree in business administration from Universidad Latina in Costa Rica.
