Richard Campbell

Richard Campbell is an energy policy specialist at the Congressional Research Service, where he focuses on renewable energy issues. He began his career working on the design and construction of nuclear power plants for the engineering firm Stone and Webster, then moved to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, where he served in the Office of Electric Power Regulation and the Chief Accountant’s Office.

After a few years in consulting with Deloitte & Touche and Standard & Poor’s DRI, he led several reviews of energy R&D programs at the US Department of Energy for the National Academy of Sciences before joining the American Forest & Paper Association as Director of Energy Technology. Campbell is a registered professional engineer with degrees in civil and electrical engineering, and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Campbell was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
