Osvaldo Rosales

Osvaldo Rosales is a Chilean economist and former director of the International Trade and Integration Division at the United National Economic Commission on Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). Between 2000 and 2004, he was also director general of international economic relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, where he was chief negotiator of the Free Trade Agreement with the United States and the Commercial Pillar of the Association Agreement with the European Union. He additionally led negotiations for Chile’s free trade agreements with Korea and the European Free Trade Association, as well as preliminary negotiations for Chile’s free trade agreement with China.  

Rosales was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
