Nisme Yurany is currently the advisor to the Directorate of Early Childhood at the Ministry of National Education of Colombia. 

Yurany has more than 20 years of professional experience in initiatives for educational and social transformation with and for children, their families, and communities. Yurany has worked as the director of preschool and basic education at the Secretariat of Education of Bogota and has expertise in the design, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood programs. 

Yurany has a PhD in social sciences and childhood and youth from the University of Manizales and a master’s degree in education and social development.

Yurany was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
