Nicole Wasson was a Reporter and Assistant Editor for the Latin America Advisor at the Inter-American Dialogue from 2015-2018. She graduated magna cum laude from Dickinson College, where she received her BA in International Studies and Spanish. Her senior thesis analyzed the link between resource scarcity and civil conflict, using the Bolivian Water War in 2000 as a case study. Before joining this, Nicole interned at Creative Associates International in D.C., the U.S. Army War College Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute in Carlisle, PA, and the Council on Hemispheric Affairs in D.C. She also lived and studied abroad in Cuenca, Ecuador and Mendoza, Argentina.
