Nicole Ledesma

Nicole Ledesma joined the Inter-American Dialogue in 2020 and served until July 2020 as an Associate in the Migration, Remittances, and Development Program. Prior to working at the Dialogue, Nicole worked as an Associate at DAI LLC providing operational support to Honduras’ Local Governance (HLG) and Ukraine’s Transparent, Effective, and Accountable Municipalities (TEAM) two, USAID-funded projects. In 2019, in collaboration with the Inter-American Dialogue, Nicole conducted interviews and surveys of refugees and over 300 migrants in Costa Rica to provide insight on push and pull factors, financial access and inclusion, and remittance trends. Previously, she investigated international bribery in her role as a contractor at the US Department of Justice’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit. Nicole continues to work on legal matters assisting Searby LLP with its cases and investigations. Nicole holds a BA in Economics and International Affairs with a concentration in Development from American University.
