Natalia Cote-Muñoz is managing partner & CEO of Vantage Point Strategies.

Before co-founding Vantage Point Strategies, Cote-Muñoz served as acting deputy and senior advisor in the U.S. State Department’s Subnational Diplomacy Unit, where she led major initiatives bridging national security, economic strategy, and local policy capacity. She previously served in the Secretary of State’s Office of Policy Planning, focusing on China, technology, and global democratic resilience.

Her career spans roles at the Council on Foreign Relations, Inter-American Dialogue, and Carnegie-Tsinghua Center, as well as published work in Foreign Policy, The Diplomat, and Americas Quarterly. Natalia has advised on everything from cross-border trade risk and strategic messaging to G7 diplomatic engagement and AI governance. She brings fluency across sectors—from federal agencies and local governments to philanthropic institutions and globally engaged companies.

Cote-Muñoz holds a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA from Swarthmore College. She is based in Washington, D.C., and leads the firm’s strategy, client architecture, and governance design.
