MK Vereen is a former associate for the Inter-American Dialogue’s Energy Transition and Climate Program. From August 2021 to June 2022, she worked as an assistant for the same program. Vereen graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Spanish and environmental policy, as well as a minor in Latin American studies. Before graduating, she wrote a thesis in Spanish centered on sustainable development in Ecuador.
