Missy Reif joined the Inter-American Dialogue in 2016 and was a program associate in the office of the president. She organized the Dialogue’s annual CAF Conference, Sol M. Linowitz Forum, and worked closely on the Leadership for the Americas Awards Gala. In addition to her work with the Dialogue’s special projects, Reif also conducted research on Brazilian politics, sexual and reproductive rights and gender issues in Latin America. Prior to joining the Inter-American Dialogue, Reif spent two years in Brazil on a Fulbright grant working at the Federal University of Ceará in Fortaleza. She previously worked for the Organization of American States and the National Defense University. She graduated cum laude from Dickinson College in 2013 with a BA in International Studies and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
