Martín Obaya

Martín Obaya is vice-director at the Research Center for Transformation at the School of Economics and Business at the National University of San Martín and a researcher with the ENERGYTRAN Consortium. Obaya specializes in studying technological learning processes in the manufacturing industry and natural resource-intensive sectors. He has provided consultancy services to international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. Obaya is an economist with a PhD in Social Sciences from Monash University (Australia) and a MA in International Relations from the University of Bologna (Italy). His current line of research focuses on lithium governance.

Obaya was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
