Martha Castellanos is currently the academic vice-rector of Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina. She is also the general coordinator Aprende Virtual in Colombia. 

Previously, Castellanos worked as the manager of the National Ten-Year Education Plan 2016-2026 for the National Ministry of Education of Colombia. She was coordinator for Colombia for Virtual Educa in the OAS and the executive director of the organization Computadores para Educar among many other positions in the region. 

Castellanos studied economics at the Universidad del Rosario and project evaluation at Universidad de los Andes. She has a master’s in business administration from University of Strathclyde.
