Mark Lopes

Chief Operating Officer, Partnership for Central America

Mark Lopes is the chief operating officer for Partnership for Central America, an independent, non-governmental and non-partisan organization that serves as a coordinating body of Vice President Harris’ Call to Action to advance economic opportunity across underserved populations in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Lopes previously served as vice president of global location services at Carbyne, and as the 16th US executive director to the Inter-American Development Bank, where he served until 2018. From 2010-2014, he was the deputy assistant administrator at the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Lopes holds a BM from Berklee College of Music and an MPP from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
