María Teresa Blandón is a Nicaraguan feminist activist, who has dedicated herself to the furthering of women’s reproductive rights. She has served as a professor, researcher, and consultant in gender policy and development. Blandón founded the feminist program La Corriente, an organization aimed at promoting feminist thought. She has a Master’s degree in Gender and Development Perspective from the University of Barcelona.
