Margarita Salas Guzmán is currently the presidential commissioner for LGBTIQ affairs of Costa Rica and serves as president of the political party, Partido VAMOS. She has more than 20 years of experience working with development organizations at a national and international level, as well as in political advocacy from social movements. She has a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master’s in Communication and Development and a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Costa Rica.
