Marcela Pardo

Marcela Pardo is an adjunct professor at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Education and a researcher at the Center for Advanced Research in Education at the University of Chile. She has a special interest in the training and professional identity of early childhood teachers, as well as in the quality of early childhood education. She has worked as a consultant for UNICEF-Chile, OREALC-UNESCO, Inter-American Dialogue, and the Lego Foundation. 

Pardo has a degree in anthropology from the University of Chile, a master’s degree in early childhood educational psychology from Boston College, and a Ph.D. in humanities from the University of Leiden. 

Pardo was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
