Luis Sarrás is Green Hydrogen Managing Director of the International Business Unit of AES Corporation. He leads AES’s growth strategy for its green hydrogen businesses globally, with focus on the fourteen countries where AES has a presence outside of United States.
Throughout his career he has developed experience in international energy markets, business development, risk and portfolio management, electricity, gas, fossil fuels, maritime transport, logistic and commodities.
Sarrás is also a Board Member of the Chilean Hydrogen Association (H2Chile) and a Board Member of Gasandes Chile, which is the main pipeline for transporting natural gas between Chile and Argentina.
Luis is a Civil Engineer graduated from Universidad de Chile. He has been part of AES Corporation since 1995.
