Justice Luís Roberto Barroso is a Brazilian law professor, jurist, and justice of Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court, where he currently serves as vice president. He has also served as president of the Superior Electoral Court.
Barroso is a lawyer from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), has an LLM degree from Yale University, and a PhD from UERJ. He teaches constitutional law and is a senior fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.
