Lucía Acurio is global director of Grupo Edutec, an organization she founded in 1997 to design and implement educational innovation strategies. Acurio also directs Propósito Perú, a non-profit organization dedicated to achieving Zero Children without Learning by 2030. She is currently president of the CADE Education organization in Peru.

In 2016, Acurio was the director of Technological Innovation at Minedu. Similarly, she is an international consultant in education for innovation, teaching professional development for the design of learning for the exponential era, closing learning gaps, development of key competencies for life in the different school stages, and skills for the new jobs of the digital era, among others. 

Acurio is an ambassador of connectivity for educational purposes at the Dialogue.
