Lenin H. Balza

Lenin H. Balza is an economist in the Extractive Sector Initiative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)’s Infrastructure and Energy Department. Previously, Balza worked as a research fellow for the Energy Division at the IDB, at Santander Investment (Grupo Santander), and at the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF). He holds a degree in economics from Universidad Central de Venezuela and a master’s degree in economic development (MPA/ID) from Harvard University. His research interests include energy economics and the impacts of resource abundance on development. 

Balza was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
