Julia Valmarrosa is the executive director of Canales, an organization dedicated to the educational inclusion of the deaf community. As a deaf woman and mother of two deaf children, she has combined her passion for technology and multimedia design to create innovative projects that promote equity and access to education in Argentine Sign Language.
With over a decade of professional experience, Valmarrosa has contributed to designing multimedia solutions that facilitate inclusion and accessibility. Through the organization Canales, she has transformed the lives of deaf children and adolescents through bilingual educational projects and the creative use of technology.
Additionally, she was part of the board of directors of the Argentine Confederation of the Deaf (CAS), which achieved the recognition of Argentine Sign Language as national law.
Valmarrosa holds a bachelor’s degree in multimedia design and interaction from the Argentine University of Enterprise (UADE).
Valmarrosa was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
