Juan Pablo Guzmán has a bachelor degree in international relations and political science from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito; a master in comparative politics from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences, Ecuador Campus; and a diploma in early childhood development from the Universidad del Pacífico (Peru).

Guzmán is a consultant in the design and construction of public policies and an expert in project management and strategic planning. Currently, he is public policy and articulation manager at the REDNI Foundation. He has 10 years of experience as a leader of high-performance teams, designing and implementing social development projects and public policies that contribute to improving the quality of life of ecuadorians. Also, Guzmán, has 11 years of experience as a social scientist, researcher and speaker at academic, social and institutional forums in Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and the Philippines, among others.

Guzmán was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
