José Thomas is director of schools for the Government of Mendoza. He has served as educational manager at the Instituto Cuyano de Educación Integral (ICEI); professor of Social Sciences and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies); and columnist on educational issues in the province’s media. With vast experience in the academic field, Thomas has been a computer science teacher at EGB3 and Polimodal; and manager of the Computing Center. He has also participated in training programs for educational leaders (Consejo Empresario Mendocino), data production systems, and business intelligence platforms. 

Thomas has a degree in educational technologies from the National Technological University (UTN), Regional Faculty. He has a diploma in educational management at UTN. He is a university expert in educational indicators and statistics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia in Spain.
